reach your goals, but more important change your lifestyle and provide the right tools.
The role of physical activity and sport can help prevent and manage mental health problems, I’ll help you to increase your self-esteem and reduce problems as depression and anxiety.
There needs to be clear pathways safeguarding vulnerable adults and children suffering from mental health issues when participating in physical activity and safeguarding generally for all those participating in organised sport. Organisations that promote physical activity in patients with mental health problems should have designated safeguarding staff and referral pathways to more specialist
services. This includes the management of acute mental health conditions.

I am BACP qualified Counsellor and certified from Online Therapy Institute for online counselling. As an Integrative Counsellor, I believe that there is no single approach that can suit everyone in every situation. Each person is unique, so counselling should also be unique to that person. I aim to cater to the therapeutic experience of each individual, tailored to each person’s personal limits, external constraints and goals. I have worked with adolescents and young adults since 2016 and also have experience of working with the elderly. Having worked in stressful corporate environment for over 20 years, I understand the stress and pressures of modern life and its impact on our mental wellbeing and of our loved ones.
I use a Person-Centred approach which means I focus on working in partnership with my client, allowing them to express themselves without being judged. I am mindful everyone expresses and processes things in different ways and at different speeds so I work with clients individually to make sure I am giving them the best support possible. I create a safe and secure environment to allow them to fully explore their feelings without the fear of judgement. I can use a range of approaches so we work together to tailor the sessions to best suit the client.
I use a Humanistic / Person-Centred approach to work collaboratively with clients, creating a supportive therapeutic alliance to help you explore and make sense of whatever is happening in your life. I will work at your pace to help you achieve your goals and providing a step towards healing and change.
