Low Cost Counselling

At The PGDC we offer affordable ways of accessing counselling and psychotherapy within the community through our low cost service, if you are on benefits or a low income.

Counselling can help you to deal with issues that are causing you distress or preventing you from living your life to its fullest. Our counsellors can help you to explore your difficulties so that you can move forward in a more positive way. Together, we can explore your concerns and help you to understand the root cause of your problem, which will enable you to become more self-aware, so that you can make informed choices and have more control of your decisions.

We work with adults on an individual basis and provide therapy for many issues, including:

Panic Attacks

Relationship issues

Childhood related issues

Family issues

Low self esteem

Abuse

Loss

Trauma 

Anger Management

Stress\Work related stress

Suicidal thoughts

Self Harm

Health related issues

We provide a confidential and safe space where you will be able to unburden yourself and explore difficult feelings and thoughts.

We are integrative counsellors and use various counselling approaches including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt approach. We will use the appropriate counselling approach/es to meet your individual needs.

All our counsellors are professionally trained, insured and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

As an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) we adhere to the BACP ethical framework. This requires us to provide a high level of service delivery.

We are 3 minutes walking distance from East Croydon station.

Telephone consultation – Free
Initial Assessment  – £15 (50 Minutes)
Individuals on benefits  – £10.00 (50 Minutes)
Low Income (up to £18,500)  – £25 (50 Minutes)
